Staircase Warranty & Craftsmanship Guarantee

At Remodeling Pro of N Fl LLC, we design and build custom staircases with long-term performance in mind. Whether it’s a floating mono-stringer system, a full staircase remodel, or a modern glass railing installation, our work is completed with precision, code compliance, and accountability.

We believe a warranty should be clear, fair, and transparent — not hidden in fine print.

Our 1-Year Workmanship Warranty

We provide a One (1) Year Limited Workmanship Warranty on labor performed by Remodeling Pro of N Fl LLC, beginning on the date of Substantial Completion. This warranty covers installation-related defects directly and solely caused by our workmanship that materially affect the function or safety of the staircase or railing system. If a covered issue arises within the warranty period, we will inspect the concern and, if confirmed as a workmanship defect, repair or correct it at no additional labor cost.

Your satisfaction and safety are important to us, and we stand behind the quality of our installation. We build stairs not only to look exceptional, but to meet structural and safety standards. When permits are required, inspections are coordinated as part of the agreed scope.

Materials & Manufacturer Coverage

Custom stair projects often include:

  • Solid hardwood treads (white oak, red oak, etc.)
  • Engineered steel mono-stringers
  • Glass railing systems
  • Balusters, Horizontal bar or cable systems
  • Specialty finishes and protective coatings

Many of these materials and components are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, when applicable.

Natural wood is a living material. Variations in grain, tone, and minor seasonal movement are normal characteristics and are not considered defects unless directly caused by installation error.

What Is Not Covered

To maintain clarity and fairness, the following are not covered under our workmanship warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Scratches, dents, or cosmetic changes from daily use
  • Environmental effects such as humidity, moisture, leaks, or structural movement outside our scope
  • Improper maintenance, cleaning chemicals, or modifications performed by others
  • Work altered or refinished by third parties

Slip Resistance & Personal Safety

Stair usage conditions (footwear, moisture, cleaning products, lighting, etc.) are outside contractor control. Accidents, slips, falls, or personal injury claims are not covered under workmanship warranty.

We are happy to discuss finish options and maintenance recommendations to help homeowners maintain safe conditions
